An open rattan shell in honey, set off with black

The first thing you notice is the pattern of the shell: nested circles linked by spokes that fan out from the center like rays. This open structure lets the light through, so the armchair looks light despite its size. The hand-woven rattan-look resin keeps a warm honey tone that recalls 1970s seating. The black cushions and steel legs give the whole piece a more graphic, up-to-date feel. The thick back cushion invites you to sink into the chair, while the seat cushion stays thin.

From cocktail hour to rooftop: where to set it up

This armchair works best in small groups. Three or four around a coffee table are enough to create a lounge area for a wedding cocktail hour, a garden reception or a corporate party on a Paris rooftop.
