Partitions and dividers to organize your event
Renting a room divider makes it easy to reconfigure a space without undertaking any construction work. A movable partition, a removable partition, or a folding screen can be used to create different zones, define the boundaries of an exhibit booth, conceal technical equipment, or ensure privacy in a meeting area. 126 Events offers a range of room dividers that can be integrated with event furniture for a trade show, seminar, exhibition, reception, wedding, fashion show, or film shoot.
This temporary solution is particularly well-suited for venues where the layout needs to change throughout the day. The products can be moved, combined, or installed according to the room layout, available access points, and the event’s technical constraints.
Why Rent a Partition for an Event?
Renting partitions meets a variety of organizational needs. They can be used to separate a reception area from a meeting area, create a temporary coat check, conceal a storage space, or hide the backstage area behind a stage. At a trade show, multiple panels can help structure a booth and create a quieter space for welcoming visitors.
At a reception, a partition can also delineate the dining area, the lounge area, the dance floor, or the photo backdrop. This visual separation facilitates traffic flow and allows you to create multiple atmospheres within the same room without installing a permanent wall.
Creating a Private Space at a Trade Show Booth
At a trade show or exhibition, interactions often take place in an open and bustling environment. Installing a movable partition around a table or behind a reception desk helps reduce visual distractions and creates an area better suited for meetings. Depending on the available space, several modular partitions can be arranged in a straight line or placed at an angle to follow the structure of the booth.
This setup is particularly useful for an agency, brand, or company that wants to host clients in a more comfortable setting while maintaining an open space that connects to the rest of the event.
Which room divider should you choose?
The choice depends on the product’s function, its location, and the desired aesthetic. A movable partition on casters is suitable when the layout needs to be changed quickly. A removable or modular partition makes it easier to adjust the length of the partition based on the number of panels installed.
An acoustic partition helps reduce noise transmission and can improve the comfort of a meeting space, a temporary office, or a workspace set up in a living room. A wooden partition, a rattan screen, or a carved model serves a more decorative purpose. Green panels, on the other hand, create a partition that is visible from both sides while adding a natural touch to the decor.
A selection of movable partitions and room dividers available for rent
The 126 Events catalog features several types of room dividers suitable for both professional and private events. Black, gray, or acoustic partitions are ideal for setting up a trade show, convention, conference, or temporary workspace. Wooden, rattan, or fabric room dividers help enhance the decorative theme of a reception, photo shoot, or stage design.
A red velvet room divider, for example, can be used as a backdrop for a photo booth or in a show-inspired setting. An artificial plant partition can separate a lounge area from a high-traffic zone, while a model on casters offers more flexible setup options when the layout needs to change throughout the day.
The models available on the website can be added to a quote request to check their availability, pricing, and rental terms.
Pairing Room Dividers with Event Furniture
A partition isn’t just for dividing a room or hiding equipment. It can be integrated into the overall design and coordinated with other pieces of furniture. A wooden screen can be paired with rattan armchairs, a coffee table, and artificial plants to create a welcoming space.
A black partition can be paired with contemporary furniture, a counter, or a conference table. For a professional event, armchairs, tables, and acoustic furniture can be used to create a functional discussion area within a larger space.
The choice of colors, materials, and the height of the partition thus helps ensure a layout that is consistent with the event’s visual identity.
