Louise baroque chair in gilded wood and red velvet
The Louise baroque chair pairs a carved gilded wood frame with a seat and back in red velvet. At 117 cm tall, it stays visible at the table and in photos, and fits easily at a sweetheart table or a reception dinner. 126 Events offers it for rental among its wedding chairs, with pickup in Pantin or delivery in Paris and Île-de-France.

A carved back you can see from across the room
The medallion back is framed in gilded wood and topped with a carved scrolled crest, echoed on the seat rail. The front legs have a cabriole shape, in the spirit of French salon chairs. Red velvet covers the entire seat and back. Under warm lighting, it takes on a deeper shade, close to burgundy. At 117 cm, the top of the back rises well above the shoulders of seated guests: the chair reads from the front and from behind, which matters when the table is seen from the room. It is part of our classical and baroque furniture selection.
Head table, gala dinner or red and gold lounge
At a wedding, two Louise chairs are enough to mark the couple's seats at the center of a head table, surrounded by simpler chairs. Around tables dressed in ivory linens, for a gala or a holiday dinner, they create a red and gold setting with no other decor needed. The chair also works in a baroque bistro setup, as in our photos: two chairs around the gilded Ø 60 cm pedestal table, repeated across the room, with the Grandfather baroque settee in the background. Both pieces appear in the related products below. In December, these colors fit naturally into a Christmas setting.
See the velvet at our Pantin showroom
Red velvet never looks quite the same on screen as it does in a room, and a photo shows little of the relief in carved gilding. At the 126 Events showroom in Pantin, just outside Paris, you can see the Louise chair up close, sit on it and check its height before confirming your quote.
