Red Lips Sofa 3-Seater W 203 cm
This sofa takes the shape of a pair of lips in red velvet: the upper lip forms the backrest, the lower lip the seat. At 203 cm wide, it fits three people side by side for a photo, two to actually sit back and relax. 126 Events rents it out for Valentine's Day, product launches, photo corners and themed lounge areas, with delivery in Paris and the Île-de-France region. It is part of our event sofa collection.

A lips sofa in the spirit of 1970s pop design
No armrests, no corners: the whole piece comes down to two curves and the dip at the center of the backrest. The shape reads from the front as well as from behind, so you can set it in the middle of a room instead of against a wall. Velvet doesn't catch the light evenly. Darker in the hollows and brighter on the curves, it gives the silhouette depth, especially on camera. It sits in the same pop art register as our 1970s furniture, with a bold red that needs nothing else around it.
Valentine's Day, beauty launches, photo corners: where to place it
Lips bring kisses and makeup to mind, which makes this sofa a logical choice for Valentine's Day or the launch of a lipstick or fragrance. At a trade show, several lips sofas set against red drapes create a monochrome brand space that visitors spot from across the hall. In a hotel lobby or a pop-up store, a single sofa is enough to give guests a meeting point. For a photo shoot, a music video or a cabaret night, plan a light backdrop if you want the silhouette to stand out clearly.
What to pair it with
For a tone-on-tone lounge, the red lips armchair repeats the same shape as a single seat. To play with two colors in the same lounge area, the purple lips sofa has the exact same dimensions. For accessories, polished brass, marble, glass and matte black hold up well next to red. Raw wood and rattan break the effect.
Velvet and curves are easier to judge in person than in photos. At the 126 Events showroom in Pantin, right on the edge of Paris, you can see the furniture before you book: a practical step for checking a shade of red and how much room a 2-meter sofa will take up in your space.
